Lead Low Voltage Tech

Position Overview:We are seeking an experianced Low Voltage / Audio Video Technician with a minimum of 2-3 years to join our dynamic team. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of low voltage systems, including Structured Data Cabling, Security Camera Systems, Building Access Control and Audio/Video systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage systems such as Ethernet structured cabling, fiber optic cabling, security camera systems, access control systems, and audio/video systems.
• Pull, terminate, dress, test, and label CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, and fiber data cables.
• Install and terminate racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, and firestopping.
• Set up and configure devices including CCTV systems, access control, and audio-visual equipment.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of low voltage equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with low voltage systems.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Install computer hardware and networking equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects efficiently.
• Provide field service support to customers as needed.
• Use hand tools and specialized equipment to complete tasks.

Experience Pays:

We are offering a sign on bonus for this opportunity of up to $1500 based on experiance!

• Previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and equipment.
• Familiarity with computer hardware and networking.
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Additional Details:

• Must pass a security background check and have a clean, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to commute within Southeastern PA is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% is preferred.
